In my most recent book post, I discuss one of the most renowned books relating to mental illness. The protagonist is a thinly-veiled version of the author, and soon after the book's publication, the author committed suicide at age 30. . Though the actual plot is random, the languishing thoughts running through the protagonist's mind provide a glimpse into the headspace of a person with clinical anxiety or depression. I seem to have a lot more books than I do time to read, so I appreciate nights like these when I can spend hours with my nose between pages. The book on the left is my new favorite because it's one of the most exciting and hilariously witty Victorian novels I've ever read. I just started the book on the right, and it's been extremely enlightening so far. 🤓 #victorianera #christianbooks
